Stalis partner with Knowledge Solutions to drive increased NHS efficiency

Stalis Ltd, a leading provider of Data and Resource Management solutions for the health industry, has signed an agreement to work with Knowledge Solutions to ensure end-users successfully adopt new implementations of their systems.

The partnership agreement follows a successful project for Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Trust, where Knowledge Solutions supported the deployment of the Stalis Silverlink PCS Patient Administration System with end-user training, automated documentation, online learning and ongoing process reinforcement.

Stalis' solutions improve the quality of information available to health providers, supporting their goals for more efficient management and provision of patient services and resources.

Christine Whitehouse, Managing Director, Stalis, commented: "We initially chose to work with Knowledge Solutions as they came highly recommended by our premier PAS customer at Moorfields Eye Hospital. We look forward to working with them in the future to deliver systems with in-built training support so that our customers can fully benefit from the functionality we provide. Knowledge Solutions has great experience in the end-user adoption and training field and we bring expert knowledge of healthcare IT. Together we have a very powerful proposition that will help to drive the efficiencies required by the NHS."

Stalis are very aware of the considerable investment made in staff awareness and training when any major IT solution is deployed within the NHS. By working with Knowledge Solutions, Stalis' NHS customers can significantly reduce the risk and overheads associated with end-user training and adoption of new systems.

Adrian Palmer-Geaves, CEO, Knowledge Solutions, added: "Knowledge Solutions are delighted to be working with Stalis to ensure that their market leading Data and Resource Management systems are successfully adopted by end-users. Getting staff up-to-speed on new IT systems is difficult in any environment, but the unique pressures of NHS deployments mean having a robust strategy to gain end-user buy-in and ensure they are properly trained is absolutely critical."

Following the initial implementation, the constant change in healthcare delivery impacts upon systems which are already in use, and without tools such as Knowledge Solutions, it is doubtful that Trusts can maintain the full benefit from their original investments in the system.
